Shopkeepers allege that this entire action was taken without prior notice and notice. He says that the shops were vandalized early in the morning even before they opened, causing a loss worth lakhs of rupees.

Omprakash, Khemchand Saini, Hemraj and other shopkeepers alleged that the action was taken on selected shops, while encroachment was present in the entire city. It was alleged that due to political pressure, some shops were targeted, while nearby shops were not touched. Shopkeepers have demanded that the government and administration compensate for their huge losses. Municipal Secretary Sahil Dhankhar has completely denied the allegations of the shopkeepers. He says that due to encroachment in the city for a long time, the traffic jam problem had become serious and complaints were being received continuously. The secretary claimed that announcements and notices were issued every ten days in the last two months, but people did not comply. The action was taken early in the morning so that the loss does not increase further if shops open after 10 o’clock.

He clarified that the action has been taken completely impartially and as per the rules and the campaign will be conducted in the entire city in future also. After the campaign, there is a tense situation in the city and the dispute between the shopkeepers and the administration is deepening.
