Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has a large number of fans in Pakistan as well as in India. Akhtar often talks to his fans through social media. During one such question-and-answer session, Akhtar gave a funny answer to a question related to his favorite actor.
New Delhi. Shoaib Akhtar is recognized as such a fast bowler, who used to get rid of the sweat of the best batsmen with his speed. Akhtar is very popular not only on the field, but also outside it. He has as many fans in Pakistan as he has in India. He himself likes India very much. Since retirement, Shoaib often interacts with fans through social media and answers their questions.
Akhtar recently had an answer-and-question session with the fan on his Instagram account. In this, a fan asked him the name of his favorite Indian actor. Akhtar described Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as his favorite actor. Akhtar tagged Salman Khan with this reply and also shared a shirtless picture of him.

‘Salman to play the lead in my biopic’It is not hidden from anyone that Salman is very much liked not only in India but also in Pakistan. This was not the first time that Shoaib has shown his love for Salman. Earlier, on the question of his biopic in an interview, he has said that if ever my biopic is made, then I want Salman Khan to play the lead role in it. He revealed that when Gangster was coming out, Salman Khan told him that he was a perfect fit for Shiney Ahuja’s character as he looked like a gangster.

During the same question-and-answer session, a fan told Shoaib that he should be the bowling coach of Pakistan’s Under-19 or ‘A’ team. This former fast bowler dismissed this suggestion in a very funny way. Shoaib has taken 178 wickets in 46 Tests for Pakistan, while he has 247 wickets in 163 ODIs. He has also taken 10 wickets twice and five wickets 12 times in Tests.
