It is a proud moment for Shivhar district. Because two talented children have been selected from Shivhar district for the Prerna Utsav program organized by the Education Department of the Government of India. Among the selected students is Reshmi Kumari, who is a student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Shivhar. Shivam Kumar, who is a class 11 student of Higher Secondary School Mali Pokharbhinda of Shivhar block, is included. Both the students were sent to Gujarat on Thursday morning under the leadership of scout teacher Priyanka Pandey. Navodaya Vidyalaya Shivhar Principal Sushma Sinha and senior teacher DN Sinha flagged off the children and the teacher with best wishes.
Principal Sushma Sinha told that both the children will visit that historical school located in Vadnagar in Mehsana district of Gujarat. Where the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi studied during his childhood days. This opportunity will be inspiring not only for the students. Rather, it is also an important opportunity for them to understand the real values of education. Special educational and cultural activities have been organized for children in the school located in Vadnagar. In which both these students will actively participate and represent their district.
Prerna Utsav competition organized in Shivhar
The objective of the Prerna program run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Sangathan is to select promising and talented children from across the country and connect them with inspirational places. In this series, Prerna Utsav competition was organized in Shivhar district. In which children from across the district participated in various competitions like poetry writing, speech and painting. The results of the competition were sent to Delhi for final selection. Where Reshmi Kumari and Shivam Kumar were selected to represent the district.
Selection of two talented students from the district
Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Vijay Kumar said that Shivam Kumar is a student of class 11. Priyanka Pandey, TGT English, PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, has accompanied him as escort teacher. He said that it is a matter of great pride to have two talented students selected from a small district like Shivhar. Both the students will showcase their talent by participating in various educational programs organized in Ahmedabad and Vadnagar. Will bring glory to Shivhar district.
