Agra Crime News: A honeytrap gang is active in Agra. A week ago a woman reached DCP City office and submitted an application. She had told that a boy had made obscene videos of her. But, the truth turned out to be something else.
Agra: About 6-7 days ago, a woman reached DCP City of Agra crying. She told that a boy had made dirty videos of her. Not only this, he is also blackmailing. He is saying that if lakhs of rupees are not given then he will post the video on social media. When the DCP heard the matter, he was shocked. He ordered an investigation. But, when the investigation was done, the matter turned out to be something else. The ground slipped under the feet of the police. The victim woman instead turned out to be the accused. Actually, earlier the woman along with her associates used to trap people in honeytrap. Then she used to blackmail them by making obscene videos. When someone refused to pay money, she threatened to file a case. Obscene videos of several boys were also recovered from the woman’s phone.
The matter is of Kamla Nagar police station area. The police was getting information from the informer that a honeytrap gang was active in the city. A week ago a woman reached DCP City office and submitted an application. She had told that a boy had made obscene videos of her and was blackmailing her and demanding lakhs of rupees. DCP ordered investigation in this matter. Many teams were deployed for revelations.
When the investigation was done, it was found that the victim woman along with four other associates runs the Honeytrap gang. She threatens to make obscene videos of people and make them viral on social media. There was even a threat of being implicated in a false rape case. First missed calls would be made to people’s numbers. Then whenever someone called back, the woman would befriend them by talking sweetly.
He used to threaten youth over phone. Now the police has disclosed the entire matter and arrested the accused woman along with her associate Ganesh. During police interrogation, both of them were told that till now these people had made 3 people their victims. About Rs 4.12 lakh was taken from them. Police have also found obscene videos of three other boys from the woman’s phone.
The woman told that she had incurred debt in online games. To repay him, she joined this gang. She had trapped a boy, he was not giving the money, due to which she went to the police officer to make a false complaint. Now the police have arrested the woman along with her partner Ganesh and sent him to jail. Police have started efforts to arrest three other accused.
