New Delhi. Bangladesh superstar Shakib Al Hasan has apologized for his poor conduct in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL 2021). Shakib crossed all limits on the field on Friday and he was seen expressing his anger in front of the on-field umpire not once but twice. He also argued with the coach of the opposition team, Khalid Mahmood, who is also the director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
The video of the incident went viral on social media following which Shakib apologized for his behavior and admitted that he spoiled the fun of the match for the fans. He believed that an experienced player like him should control his emotions regardless of the situation . He has also apologized to all the officials and teams involved in this.

Shakib shared a post on social media, in which he wrote, ‘I am extremely sorry for losing my cool and ruining the match for everyone, especially those who were watching the match from home. An experienced player like me should not have reacted like this but sometimes it all happens unfortunately.
He further wrote, ‘I apologize to the teams, management, tournament officials and organizing committee for this human error. I will not repeat it again in future. Thank you all and love.’ Shakib, who was banned by the ICC, lost his cool on the decision of the umpire in this match. He uprooted all the three stumps in front of the umpire.
However, some fans were quite angry with Shakib. He talked about banning him from cricket on social media.
