Citizens have also raised the demand to make major roads one-way.
Shaheed Park, located in the heart of Ballia city, is considered one of its historical sites. The blood of all the Baliya sacrificers is heard in this soil. There is not just one but six routes here. The roads also have the streets of Banaras. Sir, these streets also have their own history related to independence. But it is eager to stop the heartbeat of this city. Due to those responsible in Kumbhakarni sleep, till date Ballia has not been able to get relief from the jam. To ensure that the problem of traffic jam does not become complicated, Lohia Market was constructed. But Lohia Market, built at a cost of crores, is now in a dilapidated state and has been forced to gather dust.

Ballia is a planned city, where there are wide roads all around. But due to lack of traffic management, there is no relief from the jam. Citizens have also raised the demand to make major roads one-way. Talks about vending zones have been going on for years. But the ground reality is telling something else.
shopkeepers should be shifted
Lohia Market, built at a cost of crores of rupees near Shaheed Park, is still lying vacant. People suggest that all the street vendors should be shifted there, so that the roads are empty and the traffic can be smooth. Due to the jam, customers are not able to reach the shops, due to which the traders of the city are troubled and the shops at the intersections of the villages are becoming buzzing. Local citizen Bhim Bahadur Singh says that due to the shops on the wide roads, the roads have become narrow, on which the local leaders and administration should pay serious attention.
it has not been allotted till date
According to Ashok Gupta alias Rahul, if Lohia Market is started in an organized manner, then about 50 percent of the traffic jam problem can be eliminated. Taking a jibe at the leaders and officials, he said that the people responsible have lost their will to work. Ganesh Prasad Srivastava alleged that Lohia Market has become a victim of corruption and till date it has not been allotted and is now dilapidated.
When will the public’s voice be heard?
People also reminded that Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh had announced to develop Ballia Chowk on the lines of Chandni Chowk. But its effect has not been visible on the ground yet. Now it remains to be seen whether the voice of the public will be heard or the heartbeat of Ballia city will simply stop.
