Varanasi:The month of December has started trembling now. Due to falling temperature in UP, along with night and day, even the afternoon sunlight has become lukewarm. Indian Meteorological Department i.e. IMD has predicted that the maximum temperature in the state will decrease by 2 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours. The minimum temperature will also drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. With the drop in temperature, cold wave conditions will arise in many districts of the state. According to the information received from the Zonal Meteorological Center located in Amausi, Lucknow, the weather will be dry in both the eastern and western divisions of UP on December 5. In such a situation, moderate to light fog can be seen in different districts of the state in the morning. There is also a possibility of dense fog with visibility of 400 to 500 meters in some districts.
On Friday, the morning will start with fog in the state capital Lucknow. As the day progresses, the fog will disappear in Lucknow and the sun will also shine. The Meteorological Department has predicted that today the minimum temperature in Lucknow will be around 10 and maximum 24 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Amethi, Rae Bareli, Sitapur, Sultanpur, Unnao, Kanpur adjacent to Lucknow is also expected to be around this.

Cold will increase in the districts of Eastern UP
IMD predicts that now the cold will gradually increase in the districts of Eastern UP. There will be a light blanket of fog in the morning in Varanasi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Mirzapur, Jaunpur, Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Ghazipur, Sonbhadra, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Kaushambi, Chandauli, but the weather will become normal as the day progresses. BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that due to continuous snowfall in the hilly areas, now icy winds have started making people feel cold at night. As the days of December pass, the temperature will also decrease.
