Varanasi: The morning of Uttar Pradesh will now be wrapped in a white sheet of fog. Indian Meteorological Department i.e. IMD has expressed this possibility. It is estimated that on December 12, there will be dense fog in a dozen districts of the state. During this period, visibility will also be zero in many cities. However, as the day progresses, Lord Bhaskar will be seen even in these cities with dense fog. But with the onset of evening, strong westerly winds will give a feeling of melting. Such situation will continue for the next 36 to 48 hours. According to the information received from the Zonal Weather Center located in Amausi, Lucknow, on December 12, dense fog will be seen in the Terai areas of Eastern UP as well as Western UP. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding this. It is estimated that today Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Sitapur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabirnagar, Basti, Gonda, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur and Shravasti are included.
Moderate to light fog in Purvanchal
Apart from this, moderate to light fog can also be seen in many districts of Purvanchal today. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, moderate to light fog may be seen in Prayagraj, Varanasi, Pratapgarh, Ayodhya, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Jaunpur, Sultanpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Ballia and Mau on Friday. There is a possibility of fog with visibility of 500 to 700 meters in some of these districts. If we talk about the temperature in these districts, the maximum temperature can be recorded here at 27 and minimum at 8 degrees Celsius.
Some relief from cold in Lucknow today
People will get some respite from the cold in the state capital Lucknow on Friday. There will be a rise of about 2 degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature here. However, light fog cover will be visible in the morning in Lucknow. The Meteorological Department estimates that today the minimum temperature in Lucknow will be 11 degrees and maximum 26 Celsius. No significant change will be seen in the temperature here on 13th December. If we talk about Noida adjacent to Delhi, today the melting will disturb the people there in the morning and night. The minimum temperature in Noida today will be around 10 and maximum around 25 degrees Celsius.
Weather will change due to western disturbance
BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that from December 13, a new weak western disturbance will affect the Himalayan region. After this, easterly winds will blow for three to four days. Due to which the minimum temperature will rise by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius. However, there is no possibility of change in this for the next 26 hours.
