Haryana Weather Update: With the beginning of December, severe cold has increased in Haryana. The temperature in Hisar reached 3.5°C, which is the lowest of the season. The maximum temperature recorded in Faridabad was 27.2°C. Night temperatures will drop rapidly from 1–3 December. The cold of morning and evening will increase due to north-westerly winds.
With the beginning of December, the weather in Haryana has started breaking its records. Heavy chill is visible. A major change in the weather may be seen in the last month of this year. It is going to be record breaking cold during this period. According to IMD, the mercury in Haryana has risen towards the freezing point in the morning on December 1, where the temperature in Hisar last night was 3.5 degrees Celsius, which has been the lowest temperature of this season so far. Along with this, the maximum temperature of Faridabad district was seen at 27.2 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. This morning’s temperature in Haryana is 10°C.
Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology in Hisar, Haryana, said that the night temperature will drop rapidly from 1-3 December. During this time, north-westerly winds will blow, due to which the cold will increase in the morning and evening. According to him, the weather will be cold today i.e. 2nd December. The maximum temperature at noon on this day will be around 25 °C, and the minimum will be around 5 °C. The situation of fog and smog will persist on 3rd December. A drop in temperature will be seen on this day. The day temperature is likely to drop to around 20 °C and 4-5 °C at night. On December 4, the weather will remain cloudy throughout the day. Cold winds will blow on this day and the temperature will be around 22 °C during the day and 5 °C at night. The period of cold winds will also begin. Smog and pollution levels will continue on December 5. The temperature during the day is likely to be around 24 °C and 10 °C at night. On December 6, cold winds will blow in the morning and evening and the day temperature will be around 20 °C, while the night temperature will be around 5-8 °C. There may be a slight improvement in the weather on December 7, but fog is likely to persist, the day temperature will be around 22 °C, nights will be a little cool and the temperature will be 7-10 °C. Whereas on December 8, light sunny or partly cloudy weather is expected. Strong winds will blow and the temperature is likely to be around 25 °C during the day, around 10 °C at night.
Change in AQI level
Along with the change in weather in Haryana, AQI level is also becoming very bad. Delhi’s AQI was seen at 425 in the morning. Whereas in Faridabad district of Haryana, the AQI level has been recorded at around 494, surpassing that of Delhi. In the morning, AQI level of 343 was seen in Gurugram district and AQI level of 200 was seen in Ambala district.
