The rule for submitting photocopy of Aadhaar will change
At many places like hotels or other services, people give photocopies of their Aadhar cards for Aadhar verification and these copies are physically kept there. Now UIDAI is preparing to end this old system.
UIDAI is working on a plan to completely stop paper-based Aadhaar verification soon, so that the security of documents and its misuse can be stopped.
Now Aadhaar verification will be completely digital
UIDAI is soon going to make a big change in the method of Aadhaar verification. Now there will be no need to give photocopy of Aadhaar, because paper based verification is being stopped. A new digital system will be implemented in its place. Any organization that wants to verify Aadhaar will have to be registered with UIDAI. Along with this, Aadhaar verification can also be done with the help of QR code or mobile app.
UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar said that this rule has been approved and it will be implemented soon. Apart from this, UIDAI is also going to launch a new app, through which app to app Aadhaar verification can be done and the need of asking for Aadhaar photocopy will be completely eliminated.
