Despite the pollution level being the same as before, the restrictions imposed under Group 3 have been lifted. Because of this, there is confusion regarding school holidays/hybrid mode.

Delhi Pollution: Are schools open or closed on Monday?

Due to pollution in Delhi, problems like eye irritation, headache, cold-cough, stomach ache, vomiting have become common. Be it children or adults, everyone is struggling with different problems. According to doctors, Delhi’s pollution is also having a deep impact on mental health. Meanwhile, many schools have sent notices to parents about starting regular classes from Monday. This means that from Monday (01 December 2025), children up to class 5 will also go to school and attend classes. Now the hybrid mode is being suspended till new orders.

Guidelines for children

Missing school for a long time is not an option. But it is also very important to take care of yourself in this bad weather. Therefore, it would be better if children go to school wearing N95 masks only. This will help in protecting from pollution. Similarly, if schools wish, they can keep outdoor activities closed for some more time. With this, children will stay inside the class for more time and will be saved from coming in contact with outside air. If there is any problem in the child’s health, contact the doctor immediately.
