How much loan can I take?
In addition to gold jewelery, gold coins can also be kept in the SBI Gold Loan Scheme. SBI also extended the maximum loan amount under the scheme some time back. Now, loans ranging from Rs 20000 to Rs 50 lakh can be taken on gold, which was up to Rs 20 lakh earlier.

SBI has said in the tweet that if you want to take a gold loan cheaply, then for this you have to give a missed call from your registered mobile number to the customer care number 7208933143. After that you will get a backcall from the bank. In this call, you will get complete information about the loan. Apart from this, you can also get information by messaging “GOLD” on 7208933145.

Who can take SBI Gold loan?
All persons above 18 years of age can apply for SBI Personal Gold Loan. Applications can be made on a single or joint basis. For this, the applicant must have a stable source of income. However, proof of income is not required to take a loan.
