Ayodhya latest news: The pure desi ghee that ignites the unbroken flame of the child-like form of Ramlala present in Ayodhya is specially brought from the sacred Sandipani Gaushala of Jodhpur. Under the same tradition, this year also 200 kg of ghee has reached Ayodhya. This gift is not just a material thing, but is considered a deep symbol of faith, devotion and Sanatani traditions.
Ayodhya: Devotees from all over the country reach the holy city of Lord Ram, where the child form Ramlala resides, with daily offerings in the form of their respect. In this series, every year specially prepared desi ghee from Maharishi Sandipani Gaushala of Jodhpur is sent for the Akhand Jyoti and Aarti-Bhog of Ram Lalla. This tradition has been going on for years and continues without any stop even today. This year also about 200 kilograms of pure desi ghee has reached Ayodhya after traveling 1150 kilometers long. This ghee is not just a gift, but a symbol of the deep feeling of devotion to Ram and Sanatan culture.
Ghee comes from the sacred cowshed with 350 cows.
About 350 cows live in this cow shed of Jodhpur, run by Maharishi Sandipani ji. Here the cows are served with rules, purity and complete dedication. The biggest feature of this Gaushala is that the recitation of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta continues here 365 days, 24 hours a day. Cows live in the sattvik energy of the verses of Gita, due to which their milk and ghee are also considered to have spiritual purity. For this reason, this ghee is considered to be the most sattvik and divine and is especially accepted for the service of Ramlala.
Used in Akhand Jyoti and Rajbhog
The flame of the eternal flame that burns continuously in the Ayodhya Ram temple complex is lit with the desi ghee of this cowshed. The same ghee is also used in the Rajbhog offered to Ramlala in the Brahma Muhurta of the morning. When the lamps of pure desi ghee are lit in the first aarti of the temple, its supernatural light fills the entire premises with divinity.
1150 km faith journey
The distance to reach Ayodhya from Jodhpur is approximately 1150 kilometers. This journey is definitely difficult, but according to the servants of the Gaushala, it is not just a task of delivering goods, but it is a privilege to serve Lord Ram. During the journey, the feeling of reverence, enthusiasm and devotion remains at every moment.
Ayodhya reached for the third year in a row
Sri Sri Maharshi Sandipani Ji Maharaj, who reached Ayodhya, told that after Lord Ram was installed in the new temple, he had offered 600 kg of ghee for the first time. He has reached Ayodhya with 200 kg ghee in the year 2024, and now in 2025 also with 200 kg ghee. He told that there are some cows in the Gaushala which have been saved from road accidents and the ghee given by them is also included in this offering. Maharishi ji said, “Lord Ram accepted our service, this is our good fortune. For the third consecutive year, we have reached Ayodhya with ghee and this service will continue in future also.”
