Jaunpur: Another tragic death due to banned Chinese Manja in the city has increased both anger and concern among the people. The death of 40-year-old teacher Sandeep Tiwari by being cut off from a boat on Shastri Setu has raised a big question that for how long will his life continue to end without any reason. Despite restrictions, campaigns and warnings, the sale of Manjha continues rampant in the city and every time its price comes to the fore in the life of an innocent person.
People lose their lives every year
The administration becomes active only after the accident. Checking, stopping vehicles and raiding shops are done for a few days, then the situation becomes the same as before. Every year many people get injured due to Manjha on major routes like Shastri Bridge, Sadbhavna Bridge and Shahi Bridge, but this time the situation became even more frightening when a teacher lost his life. Sandeep Tiwari was returning home after dropping his 8-year-old daughter Mannat to school, when a sharp piece of manjha got badly stuck in his throat. Uncontrollable, he fell on the road along with the bike and when taken to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead.
Manja is being sold even after being banned
After this incident the entire area along with the family is in shock. Sandeep was the earning member of his family and the entire family including father Vishnu Dutt Tiwari is devastated by this tragic incident. People have questioned the police and administration that when this Manja is completely banned, then how does its sale continue? And for how long will people have to pay the price of this negligence by losing their lives?
Action will be taken if banned Manja is found
After the accident, the police administration has definitely come into action. SP Dr. Kaustubh has instructed all the police station incharges that if banned Manja is found anywhere, the concerned police station in-charge will himself take action. He said that now a case of culpable homicide will also be registered against those selling Manjha. City Magistrate Indranandan Singh has said that strict steps will be taken at the administration level as well and by running a joint campaign, this dangerous manja will be completely eliminated from the city.
After all, for how long will innocent people continue to lose their lives unnecessarily? And this time, will the administration really make such a system that the sale of banned Manja in the city can be stopped forever?
