Today Alam is cultivating water chestnut fruit in 22 acres. Seeing this work of Alam, the curiosity about agriculture increased among the youth of the village and they also started this work.
Earn up to Rs 9 lakh in 3 months
Alam said that the cost of cultivating water chestnut is about Rs 10,000 per acre, which produces 10 quintals of water chestnut fruit. One acre earns Rs 40,000. If we talk about 22 acres, we can earn up to Rs 9 lakh in this season of about 3 months. That is, he used his brain and energy in this farming and earned Rs 9 lakh in 3 months. Alam is living his life well today. They are also providing employment to many people. Traders also reach his house and buy water chestnut fruit.
people used to make fun of earlier
During an exclusive conversation with Local 18, Alam told that earlier people used to make fun of him. He has studied till matriculation (10th). But he enjoys working in the field of agriculture, hence he has been continuously working in the field of agriculture. The cultivation of water chestnut fruit takes 3 months. In such a situation, we take land on lease and cultivate water chestnut fruit. We are doing this type of farming on small barren lands. This farming gives good profit in 3 months. After doing farming in large numbers, a huge amount of money is also earned. At the same time, seeing my work, the youth of the village are also joining this work. He also does different types of farming and has started earning well.
