After the statement of Education Minister Chandrashekhar on Ramcharitmanas, where RJD’s Bihar State President Jagdanand Singh has stood with him, RJD’s National Vice President and senior party leader Shivanand Tiwari has called the statement of Education Minister wrong. Shivanand Tiwari said, if the party has decided to object to Ramcharitmanas and Ram, then a meeting should be held in the presence of Tejashwi Yadav and then a decision should be taken. As far as my knowledge is concerned, no such decision has been taken by the party to object to Ram Charit Manas and Ram.
However, Shivanand Tiwari, citing socialist Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, also said that, Lohia had said that there is garbage along with diamonds and pearls in it.
