New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) handed over appointment letters to about 71 thousand newly appointed employees in government departments and organizations under the recruitment drive ‘Rizgar Mela’ for 10 lakh personnel through video conferencing today. During this, while addressing the employment fair, PM Modi (PM Modi Rozgar Mela) said that the employment fair has become the identity of our good governance and it is the testament of our commitment towards fulfilling our promises. PM Narendra Modi Speech at Rozgar Mela:
PM Modi said that in the last 8 years, lakhs of employment opportunities have been created due to the development of infrastructure on a large scale. 100 lakh crore investment in infrastructure is opening doors to immense employment opportunities. Moving forward fast, employment and self-employment opportunities are continuously being created in India. When development starts happening fast, then self-employment opportunities start increasing in countless quantities. Today the field of self-employment is progressing a lot.
PM Modi said that in the world of business-business it is said that the consumer is always right. Similarly, our mantra in governance should be Citizen is Always Right.
PM Modi said that recruitment and promotion in a transparent manner instills confidence in the youth. This transparency motivates them to enter the competition in a better way. Our government is continuously working in this direction.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that all of you must have felt that there has been a vast change in the recruitment process. The recruitment process of central services has become more efficient and time bound than before. The transparency and speed that you are seeing in the recruitment process today is visible in every work of the government.
PM Modi said that employment fairs are being organized continuously in the central government, NDA and BJP ruled states as well. These employment fairs which are happening continuously have now become the identity of our government. This shows how our government proves the resolution it takes.
In fact, the youth who received the appointment letters are Junior Engineer, Loco-Pilot, Technician, Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Constable, Stenographer and Junior Accountant, Gramin Dak Sevak, Income Tax Inspector, Teacher, Nurse, Doctor and Security Officer in various government departments across the country. Some of the youth, including Suprabha from West Bengal, Faizal Shaukat Shah from Srinagar in Kashmir, Divyang Raju Kumar from Bihar and YC Krishna from Telangana, told the Prime Minister about their struggles and experiences.
Karmayogi Management Module is an online induction course for all newly recruited employees in various government departments. This includes the code of conduct for government servants, workplace ethics, integrity and human resource policies. It is noteworthy that during the employment fair organized in November last year, 71 thousand youths selected on various posts were handed over their appointment letters. Earlier, about 75 thousand new people were given appointment letters through the employment fair.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the job fair is a major step towards the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation in the country. Prime Minister Modi had started the ‘Employment Fair’ in the month of October last year. He handed over appointment letters to 75,000 newly appointed personnel at a function.
