If you have a rose plant in your house and you want big and beautiful flowers to bloom in abundance on it, then some important things have to be kept in mind. Many times the plant appears green, but flowers appear very rarely. The main reason for this is not taking proper care. To get good flowers in rose plants, it is very important to get at least 5 to 6 hours of direct sunlight. If the plant is kept at a place where sunlight reaches less, then immediately shift it to a sunny place.
Dr. Avnish Kumar Mishra explains that rose plants need sunlight the most. These produce flowers in good quantity only when they get at least 5 to 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. If the rose plant is kept in a corner where sunlight reaches less, then shift it to a sunny place. Also, it is important to protect the plant from excess water and constant moisture during the rainy season, as this causes the roots to rot.
Rose does not like too much water, but completely dry soil also harms it. There should be slight moisture in the soil. In the summer season, watering should be done daily, whereas in winter, it is considered better to water at an interval of 2-3 days. Always pour water into the roots only, because pouring water on flowers and leaves increases the possibility of fungus and pests.

According to expert Dr. Avnish Kumar Mishra, it is important to provide regular nutrition to the rose plants so that the stems remain strong and there can be more bloom. For this you can use rotten cow dung, vermi compost, neem cake and potash rich soil. If you want to adopt home remedies, then banana peels, onion peels and water from used tea leaves work as excellent organic fertilizers. Keep in mind that fertilize the plant at least once a month, this makes the flowers bigger, brighter and bloom in more numbers.
Expert Dr. Avnish Kumar Mishra says that regular cutting and pruning of rose plants is very important. Removing old, dry or yellow leaves provides better circulation of air and light to the plant, which speeds up the process of new bud formation. Also, by lightly cutting the branches from time to time, the plant grows faster again and starts giving bigger and more numerous flowers. For healthy and dense plants, include pruning in your gardening routine.
Rose plants are often attacked by insects like aphids and leaf suckers, due to which the plant starts weakening. In such a situation, neem oil is an effective and natural solution. Spraying neem oil at least once a week keeps the plant safe from pests and the leaves remain healthy. Along with this, it is also important to remove old and dry flowers from time to time, which is called dead-heading. By doing this, the plant uses its energy to develop new buds and flowers, due to which the number of flowers increases rapidly.
