Two people have been arrested for the murder of a former soldier in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana. Retired Subedar Mangli Ram was murdered by Satish and Shamsher alias Leela in village Dohki. Both of them had asked for a loan of one lakh rupees from Mangali Ram. But later Mangli Ram was strangled after making him drink alcohol.
Charkhi Dadri. A retired Subedar, a resident of village Dohki in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, was strangled to death by a man from the same village along with his friend. After the murder, to make the incident look like an accident, they threw the body on the roadside and ran away. The body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem at Dadri Civil Hospital.
Sadar police station has registered a case of murder on the complaint of the deceased’s SPO son Anil and arrested two accused. The accused had become friends in jail and during that time the murder was planned. The police is investigating the matter.
In fact, when the dead body of retired Subedar Mangli Ram, resident of village Dohki, was found lying on the roadside between village Pantawas Kalan and Khurd, the police was informed. Sadar police station in-charge Satveer Singh reached the spot with the team and investigated and the body was brought to Dadri Civil Hospital. Where a case of murder was registered against two people on the complaint of Haryana Police SPO Anil Kumar, son of the deceased.
Taking action, the police has arrested Shamsher alias Leela, resident of Bhaini Hamirpur, Hisar, Satish, resident of village Dohki. DSP Ramesh Kumar told that Satish along with his associate Shamsher alias Leela has committed the crime. Both of them met in jail and confessed that they had planned the murder for not lending Rs 1 lakh. First Mangali made Ram drink liquor and later strangulated him to death.
The body was thrown on the road to show the accident
To make the murder look like an accident, they put the body in the I-20 vehicle and threw it on the roadside. When the mobile phone of the deceased was found at the crime scene, it was investigated and the killers were caught. DSP said that both the accused are being interrogated by the police. DSP Ramesh Kumar said that two accused have been arrested in this murder case and the police is investigating the case.
