First of all Abhyanga: Massaging with lukewarm oil is beneficial in winter. Oil massage balances Vata and improves blood circulation in the entire body. For this, mix celery or ginger in mustard oil, heat it and then massage the entire body slowly with the oil. This will reduce fatigue and also provide relief from stiffness in the body.
Second step: Bathing with lukewarm water: After half an hour of oil massage, one should take bath with lukewarm water. Applying lukewarm water on shoulders and neck will provide relief from stiffness and muscle pain caused in winter. Often sitting for a long time and continuously using the computer causes stiffness in the neck and shoulders. For this, oil massage and bathing with lukewarm water provides relief.
Third step: Consumption of pain reducing beverages: For this, it will be beneficial to consume warm milk with turmeric, honey and ginger juice and warm water with cinnamon. Turmeric reduces inflammation in the body and cinnamon balances hormones. Consuming all these substances will help in reducing body pain and reducing fat accumulated in the body.
