Jamshedpur Private Schools: Under Mission Admission in Jamshedpur, online admission will start from December 8 on the RTE portal for seats reserved in 1504 private schools for EWS and deprived classes.
This year, under Mission Admission in Jamshedpur, the process of admission on reserved quota seats of private schools has already been started. This time the department has started preparations two months earlier than the last session. So that eligible children can get admission in schools on time. The admission process for the seats earmarked for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and deprived sections in all the private schools of the city will start from December 8. This initiative has been ensured under the Children’s Right to Education Act (RTE).
The District Education Department has issued instructions to all the private schools and parents of the city that they will be able to fill online applications from the scheduled date. The aim of the department is that this time no child should miss the opportunity due to lack of information. In previous years, many children were deprived of filling the form due to lack of documents or wrong information. Therefore, this time the department has already started wide publicity.
Some important criteria have been set for parents and children applying under the reserved quota. The annual income of the applicant family should be maximum Rs 72,000. Proof of age and residence of the child is mandatory. Besides, the family will also have to submit income certificate from the local authority. Officially, documents related to income should be issued between 30 September 2021 to 30 September 2022. In the absence of these documents the form will not be considered valid.
