New Delhi. The country has entered its nectar period. After two years of Kovid restrictions, from this year the Republic Day celebration is going to be different and special in itself. For the first time, the world will be exposed to the strategic power of self-reliant India through march past and fly past on the path of duty.
The Republic Day celebrations will begin with Prime Minister Narendra Modi paying homage to the martyrs at the National War Memorial at 9:51. After that he will welcome the President on Saluting Dias. The parade will start with the flag hoisting of the Supreme Commander at 10:30 am and will end after 2 hours 14 minutes at 12:05.
Republic Day Fly Past: Fly past has always been the biggest attraction of the Republic Day celebrations and this year 50 aircraft of the three forces will participate in the fly past on duty… 45 from the Air Force, one from the Navy and 4 from the Army. In these, 18 helicopters, 8 transports, 1 vintage aircraft and 23 fighter planes will participate. The special thing is that in the center of attraction in this fly past, a naval aircraft is taking part, which will fly on the duty path for the first time in 42 years of service and probably this will be its last flight because after this this aircraft will leave the Navy. Will retire.
The name of this aircraft is IL-38… This aircraft is a reconnaissance aircraft which has been carrying out every movement and relief work in the sea of the enemy in a better way for the last 42 years. The showstopper of this year’s parade is the Rafale, the world’s most powerful fighter aircraft, which will perform a vertical charley drill from the front of the stage while taking off at the end of the parade. A total of 9 Rafale aircraft will participate in different formations this year.
This year the fly past is divided into two parts as usual… in which in the first part, 4 Mi-17 1V/ V5 helicopters in flag formation will fly in front of the Supreme Commander carrying the Indian flag and the tri-service flags and salute him… After that, Army attack helicopters flying in diamond formation will fly in front of Dias and then 3 MiG 29 Baz will fly in wing formation…
The second phase of the fly past will be led by indigenous Light Combat Helicopter Prachanda flying in an arrow formation of two Apaches and two ALH Mark 4s. After this, 5 ALH Sarang helicopters in the Sarang formation will pass over the duty path, dropping the Tri Colour. Vintage aircraft Dakota and 2 Dornier in Tangail formation, 1 C-130 and 4 Rafale in Vajrang formation, Navy’s IL-38 and 2 AN 32 in Garuda formation, 1 AWACS, 4 Rafale in Netra formation, 1 C-17 in Bhima formation And 2 Sukhoi-30, 6 Jaguars will fly in Amrit formation. After this, 3 Sukhoi-30 in Trishul formation will disappear in the sky making Trishul formation and after this the show stopper of the fly past, Rafal vertical charlie will end the parade.
Function will be new on duty path: This year, many changes have been made for this ceremony, in which the number of spectators coming to be a part of this ceremony before the Kovid period has been reduced to 45 thousand from more than 2 lakhs. Every year 50 to 60 thousand invitations were distributed by the Ministry of Defense, which has been reduced to 12 thousand. This year, 32000 tickets are being sold for those coming to see the Republic Day celebrations. Since the seating arrangement has been changed this time, due to this the number of people coming to watch the ceremony has been reduced.
This time the parade will also go till the Red Fort. Earlier this distance was reduced during the Kovid period, then the parade used to go to the National Stadium and the tableaux to the Red Fort… Apart from this, 200 laborers working in Central Vista, 100 laborers working on duty path, 100 vegetable vendors, 100 milk booths, small shopkeepers and rickshaw pullers have also been specially invited.
Changes in the operation of Metro this year as well: In terms of security, every year the metro was operated till Udyog Bhawan and Central Secretariat, but now the metro will go from Udyog Bhavan to Central Secretariat, but only for those passengers who have a pass or invitation to see the ceremony.
A show of 3500 drones will be seen in the Beating Retreat: This year all the tunes played in the Beating Retreat will be Indian tunes. Apart from this, like last year, there will be a drone show this year too. This will be the first time that 3500 drones will execute a show together. Earlier only China had organized such a large scale drone show.
Talking to the media, the Defense Secretary said that this time the Republic Day celebrations are being celebrated in a different way. PM Modi said that there should be maximum participation of people in this program… The whole program has been made keeping in mind that… Like last year, this year also the Republic Day celebrations will start from January 23, the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Which will end with the Beating Retreat on 29 January.
