Be it the Pahalgam attack in India or the Bondi Beach firing incident in Australia, Pakistani attackers were at the root of it. The same Pakistan, to which Donald Trump had given a defense package worth billions just a few days ago.
On one hand, Pakistan calls itself a victim of terrorism, while on the other hand, the terrorist mentality of the people who have left its country becomes a problem for it. When the terrorists who came to Pahalgam in India killed people by asking them about their religion, it was condemned all over the world. However, when India took action in response, most countries became neutral. Now when such an attack has taken place on a western country, what will be the reaction of America and European countries?
What is the similarity between Pahalgam attack and Bondi Beach attack?
If we look at both the attacks, there is a lot of similarity in them. The biggest thing is that the attacks in both the countries were religion based. While the terrorists of Pahalgam targeted the people following Hindu religion, their target at Bondi Beach was the Jews. Many reports also said that the attackers fired only on people celebrating Hanukkah and were pushing back the rest. In both the incidents, innocent people were targeted who were just out to celebrate. The only difference was that this place was in the middle of the city, hence they had less opportunity and the attackers could be caught or killed. Whereas Pahalgam being a hilly area, there was no security there and the terrorists had escaped after the attack.
Terrorist attack in another Quad country, will America remain silent now?
The big thing about this attack is that it was carried out in Australia. The slain attacker Sajid had come to Australia from Pakistan in 1998 and settled here after marrying a local woman. His son Navir Akram was also born here, but he too was not saved from terrorist mentality. Everyone saw the carnage these two created by following the path of lone wolf attack. Both India and Australia are member countries of the Quad organization, in which America is also included. When Pakistan’s name has been linked to the attack, will Trump take any action on it?
Will America stand with Israel or Pakistan?
Till now Pakistan had no direct connection with the war between Israel and Hamas. Those who fired on Jews in the attack in Australia turned out to be of Pakistani origin, hence this matter has been linked to Israel. The Israeli PM had demanded immediate action from Australia, but when will America’s eyes open on this? America, which once called Pakistan’s terrorism as India-Pakistan military conflict, will this atrocities on innocent Jews not be able to show the truth? What did the Jewish people do to Sajid of Pakistani origin and his son, that they went to open fire on them? This is a fundamentalist mentality, which is blind only in hysteria, but countries like Pakistan, which nurture it, take every step thoughtfully.
