Chairman of the temple construction committee, Nripendra Mishra told that till now 45 kg of pure gold has been used in the Ram temple. Its price excluding tax is estimated to be around Rs 50 crore. This gold is on all the doors of the ground floor and on the throne of Lord Rama. Apart from this, the Sheshavatar temple of the complex is also studded with gold.
