Reliance Retail to give jobs to 10 lakh people in next 3 years
CMD Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance Retail will give jobs to 10 lakh people in the next 3 years. He said that Reliance Retail has created 65000 new jobs in the last one year and its workforce has exceeded 2 lakhs. He said that we will invest in research, design and product capability. We will develop supply chain infrastructure and link source and consumption locations across the country. Despite Corona, we opened 1500 new stores, which is the biggest expansion of any retail company in the country so far in a year. Now the number of Reliance Retail stores has gone up to 12,711. Today every eighth Indian buys from Reliance Retail.

Our apparel business sells 5 lakh units per day i.e. 180 million units annually, which is more than the total population of UK, Germany and Spain. AJIO has become the leading digital commerce platform for fashion and lifestyle. At the same time, Reliance Retail sold more than 30 lakh units per day. JIOMART got the highest number of 6.5 lakh orders in a day. In the last one year, Jiomart has helped more than 3 lakh shopkeepers and traders in 150 cities.
Great growth in Jio business
CMD Mukesh Ambani said that despite the corona virus infection, the performance of Jio has been better. Jio has become the first company that has more than 400 million subscribers in any one country except China. Because of this, Jio has become the second largest mobile data handling company in the world today.
75,000 new jobs created
RIL’s CMD Mukesh Ambani said that the company has given 75,000 new jobs in the last one year. Reliance is the country’s largest custom and excise duty paying company in the private sector. We are the country’s largest merchandise exporter. We pay the highest GST, VAT and Income Tax in the country.

Reliance produces 11% of the country’s medical grade liquid oxygen
On this occasion, Reliance Foundation’s chairperson and founder Nita Ambani, while addressing the shareholders, said that today Reliance produces 11 percent of the country’s medical grade liquid oxygen. He said that there is a need for a strong Kovid care infrastructure to fight Kovid. We have tried to achieve this through our mission COVID Infra. Within a few days after the Corona outbreak, we set up a 250-bed Kovid dedicated hospital in Mumbai.
He said that when the second wave of Kovid came, we installed additional 875 beds. We arranged 2000 beds for Kovid care all over the country, which were fully equipped with oxygen supply. He said that the entire medical fraternity is the real hero in this battle with Corona. He saved the lives of people by putting his life at stake. He said that Reliance Foundation has launched 5 important missions – Mission Oxygen, Mission Kovid Infra, Mission Anna Sewa, Mission Employee Care and Mission Vaccine Suraksha.
