Srinagar. CRPF helped a young man who had come from Kashmir to Delhi AIIMS for his sister’s treatment, he is praying emotionally for this help. Kashmiri youth says.. “We have come from Kashmir to AIIMS hospital to get our sister treated. After coming here, we were not able to know how to get treatment and where to stay. Where is the facility to eat. Sister was very upset due to illness, but here also CRPF has been helpful for us. How can we thank we have no words… “. He does not want to tell his name nor does he want to tell the name of any member of his family, but seeing the helping hands of CRPF in Delhi, he and three other members of his family were praying to CRPF from the heart.
For the families of patients who came for treatment at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi, the paramilitary force CRPF has decided to help those who are forced to sit or sleep outside the hospital in this cold weather along with the patients. Because there is no place to stay inside the hospital and the cost of the hotel becomes so high that it becomes very troublesome for the common man and the helpless. Therefore, keeping this in mind, CRFF Family Welfare Association, an organization working under CRPF, has currently arranged accommodation and warm clothes for 200 people.
This project has been named Aashray. Under this shelter project, many modern shelter homes have been built inside the premises of AIIMS Toma Center. It has become helpful for people coming from many states including UP, Bihar, Haryana, Kashmir. Dr. Arjita Thaosen, President of CRPF Family Welfare Association, inaugurated this modern shelter camp. On this occasion, Director of AIIMS Hospital MN Srinivas, Director General of CRPF were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, Dr. Arjita Thaosen told that in this shelter camp, we are giving the facility of arranging breakfast as well as dinner to the relatives of the patients. Along with this, to keep their mind in a positive way, we are providing the facility of good books and daily four-five news papers here. Along with this, the CRPF Family Welfare Association and the Northern Sector of CRPF are continuously arranging for their clean beds, warm blankets-quilts, clean toilets, so that the relatives of the patient do not face any health related problems. .
Beds started booking as soon as it was inaugurated
AIIMS is considered to be the largest hospital in the country. Patients and their relatives come from different states of the country to get treated here. Perhaps it is due to this that as soon as other patients started getting information about this shelter camp set up in the Toma Center of AIIMS, their relatives started coming. Within a few hours of the inauguration, the relatives of about 60-65 patients have booked their beds by showing the documents of their patients.
