Three riders on Bolera shot Kanwar Digvijay Singh alias in the head, due to which he died. Rana’s post-mortem will be conducted at Six Phase Hospital in Mohali on Tuesday afternoon.

It is noteworthy that Rana Balachauria, a young man originally belonging to the royal family of Una district of Himachal Pradesh, was settled in Balachaur of Navashahar, Punjab. The important thing is that they had a love marriage only 11 days ago.

According to the information, Kabaddi Cup was going on in Sohana, Mohali on Monday evening. Rana has been promoting Kabaddi and during this time he was also present during the match. Meanwhile, three youths riding a bike came and, claiming to be his fans, went close to him and shot him.

It is being told that Kanwar Digvijay Singh alias Rana Balachauria’s great grandfather was the king of a princely state located near Una. Kanwar Digvijay Singh first played wrestling and later became a Kabaddi player. After this he formed his own Kabaddi team and also started playing the role of promoter. He was also trying his hand in modeling and was planning to work in some songs in the coming days. He had a love marriage with a girl from Dehradun and now just 11 days after the marriage, his wife has become a widow.

Rana’s friends, who reached Fortis Hospital at midnight, told that his family was originally from Himachal Pradesh, but lived in Balachaur (Nawanshahr) for a long time. He started wrestling while studying. Later turned towards Kabaddi. He belonged to a rich family and was fond of owning expensive cars and weapons. The friend told that even though he belonged to a rich family, in the initial days of coming to Mohali, he used to roam around by bike and on the basis of hard work he achieved his position. It is said that the 10th Guru of the Sikhs, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, stayed in the house of Rana’s ancestors and wrote 100 Sakhis in the house.

Fortis was brought after being shot

After Rana was shot, he was brought to Fortis Hospital in Mohali. However, he had died. Fortis Hospital management said in a press release that 30-year-old Kanwar Digvijay Singh was brought to the hospital at 6:05 pm on Monday evening. He had died before reaching the hospital.

SSP Mohali Harman Deep Singh Hans said that four-five bullets were fired at a Kabaddi player during the Kabaddi Cup. Two to three accused had opened fire. The accused talked to him on the pretext of taking photographs and then shot him. Only one person has been shot in this case. The entire matter is being investigated. Investigation of the incident has been started and the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area is being scrutinized. It is noteworthy that famous Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh was also going to participate in this Kabaddi match, but this attack took place about half an hour before his arrival.
