Redmi has officially confirmed that Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G is going to be launched in India soon. The company shared its information and said that teasing of important features of the tablet will be started from December 22. Although, the exact date of launch has not been revealed yet, but it is clear from the teaser that its launch in India is not far away.
This confirmation has come at a time when Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G has been launched in some global markets in September. Along with this, the dedicated microsite of the tablet has also gone live on the Xiaomi India website. This also confirms that this tablet will be available for sale on the company’s official online store. Apart from this, it is also expected to be sold on major e-commerce platforms and offline retail stores in the country.
Possible features of Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G
In global markets, Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G has been introduced as a large-screen Android tablet. It has a large 12.1 inch display, which comes with 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels). The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, which makes the experience of scrolling and watching videos quite smooth.
The brightness of the display goes up to 500 nits and it also has TUV Rhineland Flicker Free and Low Blue Light certification, which has less impact on the eyes.
Talking about performance, the tablet has Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, with which Adreno 810 GPU is available. In the global variant, this tablet comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB with the help of microSD card.
If we look at the camera section, Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G has an 8-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash. At the same time, there is an 8MP camera on the front for video calls and online meetings.
This tablet is quite powerful in terms of battery. It has a large battery of 12,000mAh, which supports 33W fast charging. The special thing is that this tablet also supports 27W reverse charging, which means other devices can also be charged with it. For audio, it has a quad speaker setup, which supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio.
