Delhi Police Terrorist Arrest: In a major operation, the Special Cell of Delhi Police busted a terrorist module operated from Pakistan and arrested three suspected terrorists. Delhi Police has made many revelations regarding this matter in a press conference. Delhi Police has told that these arrested youth were connected with Pakistani gangster-terrorist Shehzad Bhatti through social media and were planning attacks in the country. From the hand grenade attack in Gurdaspur to Reiki in Punjab… the graph of their activities was continuously increasing.

Delhi Police told in the press conference that this module was spread in many states and all three arrests were made from Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh (Bijnor). The age of the accused is between 19 and 22 years, and they were conducting recce, gathering weapons and preparing for possible attacks on the instructions of Shehzad Bhatti. Special Cell has recovered pistol, cartridges, Riki video, voice notes and target list from them, which reveals the seriousness and depth of the module.

The Special Cell was keeping an eye on the criminal and gangster networks of Punjab for a long time. During this period, names of Pakistan-based handlers came to light in many incidents. Later, the police identified the location of the three accused through tracking and technical surveillance.

All three were directly connected to Shehzad Bhatti and used to take instructions through mobile apps and social media platforms.

Connection with Gurdaspur grenade case: How did the police get the clues?

Police said that this module had thrown hand grenades in Gurdaspur and further attacks were planned in many districts. Videos of Reiki conducted in Punjab were found in his mobile device. The voice notes and target list found in the recovery made it clear that this was not just a network but an active terrorist module.
