First of all, soak chana dal for four hours, then grind it finely in a mixer. Now lightly fry the flax seeds on medium flame. After this, add one spoon of desi ghee in the pan, reduce the flame to very low and add the lentil paste in it. Keep stirring continuously for about 15-20 minutes. When the mixture starts cooking, add some more ghee, after some time the ghee will start appearing differently.
Now lightly fry the cashews and almonds and grind them coarsely and also grind the roasted flax seeds. Add all these to the dal mixture and cook well. After this, add 1 liter milk and keep stirring continuously so that lumps do not form. Add stevia as per taste, then add one spoon ghee and cardamom powder and prepare the halwa well.
Omega Halwa is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, which are very beneficial for the heart and brain. The protein present in it strengthens the muscles, while the fiber keeps the digestion healthy. With the use of stevia, this halwa also helps in weight and sugar control, making it a healthy sweet for people of all ages.
