kicks from both sides
In fact, on November 29, there was a wedding ceremony in a hotel in Bodh Gaya in which the girl was a resident of Atri police station area while the boy was a resident of Hamshan village of Bodh Gaya police station area. After the varmala, the boys’ side reached the hall to have food. During the meal, Rasgulla ran short and there was a squabbling between the boy’s side and the girl’s side. The matter escalated to such an extent that fighting started between the two parties. They started fighting with whatever they got in their hands. The fighting reached such an extent that the marriage had to be cancelled.
Why there was dispute in marriage
Many people were injured in the fight, after which both the parties filed applications in the police station. However, the girl’s side has applied regarding dowry that the boy’s side was demanding additional dowry of Rs 2 lakh whereas they had given dowry of Rs 10 lakh. The boy’s side believes that he was getting married for free. But the fight started over food and from there the dispute escalated and eventually led to the breakdown of the marriage. We are still ready for marriage but the girl’s side has backed out by filing a false case.
CCTV footage of the fight has surfaced, the police have recorded statements from both the parties and have started investigating whether the fight actually took place over Rasgulla or there was already some ongoing dispute. At present the marriage has broken and both the parties are not ready to accept the matter. Both sides are adamant on their views.
