Ram Vilas Vedanti Passes Away: Dr. Vedanti Ram was counted among the leading faces of the Janmabhoomi movement and he played an important role in taking this movement to the masses. While being an MP from Ayodhya, he strongly raised the voice for the construction of Ram temple from Parliament to the streets.
Ayodhya/Rewa: Dr. Ramvilas Das Vedanti, the main architect of the Ram Mandir movement and former MP from Ayodhya, has passed away. He breathed his last during treatment in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. As soon as the news of his demise was received, there was a wave of mourning in the entire saint community and political world including Ayodhya.
According to the information, Dr. Ramvilas Das Vedanti was on stay in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, his health suddenly deteriorated on Wednesday, after which he was immediately admitted to the hospital. Continuous treatment efforts were made by the doctors, but he died during treatment.

His demise is being considered as an irreparable loss for the Sant Samaj and Ram devotees.
According to sources, his mortal remains will be taken from Madhya Pradesh to Ayodhya by his successors and associates in some time. After reaching Ayodhya, his last darshan and cremation process will be completed. Many saints, public representatives and social organizations have expressed deep grief over his demise.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep condolences on the demise of Dr. Ramvilas Vedanti Maharaj. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on Twitter that Dr. Ram Vilas Vedanti’s demise is an irreparable loss to the spiritual world and Sanatan culture. Paying humble tribute to him, he said that his passing is the end of an era. The Chief Minister wrote in his message that the sacrificial life of Saint Vedanti, dedicated to the service of religion, society and nation, will remain a source of inspiration for all of us. Yogi Adityanath prayed to Lord Shri Ram that the departed soul should find a place at his feet and the bereaved disciples and followers should get the strength to bear this immense sorrow.
