Bilaspur. The weather in Chhattisgarh is ready to take a turn once again. According to the Meteorological Department, an increase of one to three degrees Celsius may be seen in the minimum temperature in the state for the next two days. After this there is a possibility of drop in temperature. Meanwhile, movement of clouds along with light rain will be seen in the districts of South Chhattisgarh.
Increase in temperature in the next 48 hours
After currently falling, the night temperature in the state will now increase slightly. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature may increase by one to three degrees Celsius in the coming 48 hours.
Today i.e. on December 1, there is a possibility of light rain in Dantewada, Sukma, Bijapur and Bastar regions. There will be clouds in the sky, due to which there will be slight coolness during the day and temperature fluctuations will continue at night.
How was the weather in recent days?
The weather remained dry in the state recently. The maximum temperature was recorded at Durg at 30.8°C and the minimum temperature was recorded at Ambikapur at 8.0°C. No major record of rainfall was recorded.
Cyclone Ditva, formed over south-west Bay of Bengal and north Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast, is moving northwards. It is currently located about 80 km from the coast. According to the Meteorological Department, this system may weaken and turn into a deep depression as it progresses. Due to this system, cloudy and light rain conditions are being created in South Chhattisgarh.
