People going to the other end of the city from Diwani, Kachari, Chikr Mahal, Railway Station etc use this foot bridge. There used to be daily traffic of pedestrians from here. This is the only pedestrian bridge which is the busiest in the city from morning till evening. This bridge was in dilapidated condition for a long time. When this came to the notice of MP Satish Gautam, he wrote a letter to the railway officials asking them to repair the bridge. After which work started here.
Due to the cold weather, the repair work started at a slow pace. Most of the people were not aware of the repair of the bridge. The officers have stopped the traffic on the bridge by placing barricades on both sides. In such a situation, people going on foot have to face a lot of problems in traffic. According to the senior section engineer of the railway, the repair work on the bridge will continue for the next few days. During this time the pedestrian bridge will be completely closed. If you have to go to the other side of the bridge, then vehicles built at a distance of about 30 meters from this bridge can go through the bridge with the help of a vehicle or auto.
