Rajasthan’s longest rail tunnel has been built on the Dausa-Gangapur railway route
Dausa. The much awaited Dausa-Gangapur railway track is going to start soon. This rail route will connect Delhi-Ahmedabad and Jaipur-Mumbai rail routes (Delhi-Ahmedabad and Jaipur-Mumbai Rail Routes). The work of this rail route, which was announced in the year 1996, is now almost completed. With its commencement, the long wait of about 28 years of the people will end. Recently, Railway’s DRM Narendra Kumar had come to Dausa. He inspected the Dausa Gangapur railway route from Mandi Gate of Dausa to Didwana. During this, he said that this railway will be started soon. Inspection is being done for this. After that there will be a survey of CRS. As soon as the green signal is given to operate this railway in the survey, trains will start running here.
People have been waiting for the start of this rail route for a long time. His wait is going to end in the next few months. A few days ago, when the Railway Minister and GM came on the tour, they also said that there is a plan to start this railway route in the early months of 2023 itself. Following the instructions of Railway Minister and GM, the exercise to start the Dausa-Gangapur rail route has started. It is likely that the first section of this Dausa-Gangapur rail route will be started by the month of March. There is a plan to start the entire rail route from Dausa to Gangapur in this year itself.
The track has been taken care of after 5 years and 5 months.
It is notable that about five years ago, on August 17, 2017, Chief Safety Commissioner (CRS) Sushil Chandra had inspected 35 km from Dausa to Didwana station. Then after seeing each and every nut-bolt of the tracks, CRS Chandra gave the green signal to run the train by telling the track as OK. The then GM Anand Prakash had consulted the officials in connection with running a train of 2-3 coaches. But the officials did not show interest. Due to this, the people who were expecting the train to run were disappointed. Now again after 5 years and 5 months the track has been taken care of.
