Srinagar: Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress is now towards its last stop and is moving forward in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha said that all security arrangements have been made for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The administration will run it smoothly. Let us inform that senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi resumed the party’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Hatli Mor in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on Friday amidst the rains of the winter season, in which Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) Including many big leaders participated.
During this, Rahul Gandhi was seen wearing a black raincoat over a white T-shirt. The journey was to begin at 7 am, but due to bad weather, it started late by one hour and 15 minutes. The ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, which began on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, will conclude in Srinagar on January 30, where Rahul will unfurl the national flag in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
Several Congress leaders, including party’s Jammu and Kashmir unit president Vikar Rasool Wani and his predecessor G A Mir, were seen accompanying Rahul in the last leg of the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) said, ‘I have come to participate in the yatra on behalf of my party. The atmosphere in the country is changing rapidly and I see Rahul as a leader raising voice on real issues. He said, ‘The way people are joining this journey, it is heart touching. He is a leader and that is why he is on the streets. The public will decide (who will be their leader).

Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Jammu and Kashmir from Lakhanpur on Thursday and rested there for the night after the ceremony of handing over the flag. Meanwhile, National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah and other senior leaders of the party on Thursday welcomed Rahul on his entry into Jammu and Kashmir in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ led by him. It has been raining in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir since Friday morning. However, Rahul along with his supporters started the journey albeit late.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the yatra with the deployment of police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. Several Congress workers and supporters reached Kathua carrying the tricolor a few hours before the start of the yatra. A distance of 25 kilometers will be covered under the yatra on Friday. ‘Bharat Yatri’ will rest at Chadwal in Kathua district for the night. ‘Bharat Yatri’ will rest on Saturday also. Meanwhile, several youths with placards and garlands were seen waiting at different places on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway through which the yatra is about to pass.
