Devi Prasad Pandey, owner of Delhi’s famous Pandey Paan Bhandar, has himself prepared this special paan for President Putin.
Why was it named Brahmos?
On the question of why it was named BrahMos, Pandey ji smilingly says that BrahMos missile had taught a lesson to Pakistan and now BrahMos missile is going to make the friendship between India and Russia even sweeter. The specialty of Brahmos Paan lies in its excellent Magahi leaves which are specially procured from Banaras. This leaf is so soft and of high quality that it melts as soon as it is placed in the mouth.
Also, it releases its full flavor without any chewing. Its unique aroma and wonderful sweet-spiciness make it completely different from other betel leaves. The most interesting thing is that this Magahi Paan is also the favorite of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, when this special paan will be served to President Putin, it will not only bring sweetness to the mouth but will also add a new sweet chapter to the friendship between India and Russia.
Friendship will deepen with Brahmos Paan
Pandey ji further says that when two old friends (Modi and Putin) meet, this paan will add sweetness to their meeting. If guests have come, then you have to make your mouth sweet, brother. On one hand, BrahMos missile is a symbol of military strength of both the countries, on the other hand, now BrahMos Paan has become the new symbol of friendship. The smell of lime, catechu and spices on betel leaves is now going to spread in the diplomatic corridors also.
So this time when Putin will step into Delhi, along with the red carpet, he will be welcomed with the green leaves of Banarasi Magahi betel leaf. Now a new flavor of diplomacy has been added to India’s hospitality. The sweet blast of Brahmos Paan will bring sweetness to the mouth and deepen friendship in the heart.
