Chandigarh. The Punjab government transferred 10 officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) on Saturday. These include the Deputy Commissioners of Ferozepur and Mohali. A government order said that Rajesh Dhiman has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Ferozepur in place of Amrit Singh.
According to the order, Amrit Singh has been given the charge of Director of Tourism and Cultural Affairs and Chief Executive Officer of Punjab Heritage Tourism Board. Ashika Jain has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Mohali. She will replace Amit Talwar. Talwar has been posted as Director of Sports and Youth Services. Senior IAS officer Saravjit Singh has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs. Anurag Agarwal has been relieved of this charge, while Amritpal Singh, Special Secretary, Revenue and Rehabilitation, has been given additional charge in the Higher Education Department (Colleges).
Babita will be Director in Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Department, while Sagar Setia has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in Kapurthala, while Ravinder Singh has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in Ferozepur. Apart from this, new posting orders have been issued to Punjab Public Service officers Bikramjeet Shergill, Ismat Vijay Singh and Balwinder Singh.
