This is also an advantage of One Nation One RationCard System
The motive of the Modi government behind implementing One Nation One RationCard system is that everyone should get their quota grains. States will also be able to identify eligible beneficiaries as well as identify fake, duplicate or ineligible card holders. The Aadhar card of the beneficiaries is linked to the ration card. After which, through biometric, food grains are provided to the beneficiaries according to their quota. If a state government links the Aadhar card of all its beneficiaries to the ration card and is successful in automating all the fair price cells, then the state can avail 0.25 percent of its GDP from the open market. .
