Fatehpur News: A shocking incident has come to light in Fatehpur, where just a day before the wedding procession, a clerk committed suicide by hanging himself. However, now the question is arising whether the accountant was under pressure from SIR duty or was some other stress related to marriage troubling him? At present the police is engaged in investigation.
Fatehpur: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Fatehpur. It is noteworthy that an accountant posted in Khajuha town of Bindki Kotwali area committed suicide by hanging himself just a day before his marriage. While wedding preparations were in full swing at home, this sudden incident turned the happiness of the entire family into mourning. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation by sending the body for post-mortem. It is not yet clear whether the reason for suicide was the pressure of SIR duty or some personal problem.
According to the information, deceased Sudhir Kumar Kori was posted as Lekhpal in Bindki tehsil and recently his duty was assigned to SIR in Jehanabad assembly constituency. Sudhir’s marriage was fixed six months ago, and the wedding procession was to take place on 26 November. All the preparations were completed at home and the family was busy preparing for the wedding procession.
What is the allegation of the family members?
Roshni, the sister of the deceased, alleges that Sudhir had already applied for leave in view of the marriage, but the officers did not approve the leave citing SIR duty. The allegation is also that Sudhir was suspended for not reporting for duty for just one day. According to Roshni, this pressure had left her brother extremely mentally disturbed.
Had dinner with family at night
The deceased’s sister Roshni told that after returning from work on Monday night, Sudhir went to sleep in his room after having dinner with the family. But on Tuesday morning, when he did not come out for a long time, the family members reached near the room and raised an alarm. When there was no response from inside, the door was broken, where the family members were shocked to see Sudhir’s body hanging from the hook on the ceiling.
Police is investigating every angle
As soon as information about the incident was received, SDM Bindki Priyanka Aggarwal and Kotwal Hemant Mishra reached the spot with the team. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for postmortem. At present, the police is investigating all aspects, but the reason for suicide is not clear yet.
