The airport’s modern infrastructure makes it one of the few airports where flight operations can be conducted safely even in low visibility conditions.
Let us tell you that Jaipur Airport is equipped with CAT-III Instrument Landing System, which is included in the world’s most advanced navigation system. With the help of this technology, aircraft can do safe landing and takeoff even in very low visibility. To support the CAT-III system, Advanced Approach Lighting System (ALS) and Runway Lighting System have also been installed at the airport. These systems provide pilots with clear visual guidance of runway position and direction.
Due to which the operation remains safe even in dense fog. The airport management has also made extensive preparations at the ground level. This includes new markings on the runway, extensive maintenance of runway and approach lights and deployment of additional ground staff. Airport officials say that with these preparations, flight operations will continue without any problem even in foggy weather.
