Housewife Kavita told that making Kulfa Saag is very easy. It can be prepared in a few minutes. To make this, the ingredients required are 1 bunch of kulfa, 1/2 cup chana dal soaked overnight, mixed vegetables, 1 onion, 2 tomatoes, and 1 chopped green chilli, garlic paste, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander powder, salt as per taste.

Housewife Kavita tells that to make nutritious Kulfa Saag, first the greens are washed thoroughly, dried and then chopped finely. After this, gram dal is cooked with water and salt in the cooker till one or two whistles and kept aside. Then heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, green chillies, onion and garlic paste and fry till it turns golden. After this, add tomatoes and cook till they become soft and then add turmeric, chilli and coriander powder and fry the spices on low flame.
When the masala is ready, chopped vegetables and salt are added to it and cooked for a few minutes, then cooked chana dal and kulfa saag are mixed with this masala along with water, covered and cooked on low flame until it melts well. After this, to enhance the taste, ghee is heated separately, cumin seeds and whole red chillies are added to it and it is mixed with greens. This nutritious saag tastes delicious with roti, chapatti or paratha and can easily be included in lunch or dinner as a superfood.
The easily prepared Kulfa Saag is not only tasty but also beneficial for health. This vegetable, which grows on its own in the fields and around the houses, leaves behind many expensive vegetables in terms of nutrition.
