Mohd Sarfaraz Alam/Saharsa: Now Saharsa city will also be developed on the lines of metropolitan cities. It has been decided to develop this city as a satellite city. Saharsa Municipal Corporation has also been included in this scheme and its consent has also been given. A township will be built here where facilities like roads, parks, sports grounds and community centers will be available. This has been agreed to by the department. Under this scheme, new cities with modern facilities will be built to reduce congestion in big cities and for planned development. In this process, special attention will be given to schemes like planned development, drainage, traffic and waste management. Under this, special attention will be given to expansion of smart cities, strengthening of sanitation system, improvement in drinking water supply, conservation of green areas and development of parks.
In the field of housing, the priority will be to provide affordable, safe and quality housing for the poor and middle class. For this, government schemes will be made more transparent and effective. However, if the work is done properly then Saharsa will also look different and beautiful. The city will also develop and at the same time people will get relief from the problem of traffic jam in the city.
