Lucknow: The opposition is attacking the ongoing SIR process in Uttar Pradesh and the sale of fake cough syrup. At the same time, politics has intensified in Ballia regarding voter list and alleged rigging. Nishad Party chief and minister Sanjay Nishad has claimed that 20 thousand votes were stolen in Ballia. There has been a political uproar after his statement. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also raised this issue and launched a scathing attack on the government.
Preparation in advance to cut 20000 votes
The SP leader said that our party leader MP Rajiv Rai had said that BJP had made preparations to cut votes even before the elections. He alleged that when the SIR process had not even started, there was talk of manipulation in the voter list by the BJP. Even in 2022, Samajwadi Party had accused the Election Commission of deliberately cutting votes, which affected the election results. The SP leader said that the issues of voter manipulation, voter list manipulation and vote theft have become such a topic of discussion among the public that SIR is being conducted out of compulsion this time. The government is doing all this to hide its failure.
Akhilesh Yadav’s taunt regarding cough syrup
SP leader Akhilesh Yadav said that people should use indigenous medicines like jaggery, dry ginger, ginger, clove or black pepper in case of cough. He sarcastically said that cough syrup should be avoided in the BJP government because some people are making profits from it. Till now the scheme of ‘One District One Mafia’ is going on.
He said that BJP leaders have encouraged mafias in UP and had falsely accused the Samajwadi government of being a ‘goondaraj’. The SP leader claimed that ever since we have released the list of mafias, many people from BJP have been found in it. We will continue to expose ‘One District One Mafia’.
Ganja is being caught, not cough syrup
Akhilesh Yadav said that ganja is being seized in almost every district of the state, sometimes 5 kg, sometimes 10 kg, sometimes up to 20 kg. He raised the question that if cough syrup was being used for intoxication then who is responsible for selling it, under whose supervision is this gang running, who is involved in selling cough syrup?
Akhilesh Yadav claimed that Sanjay Nishad would not have given this statement on his own, rather the Chief Minister would have asked him to say so. He said that the meeting was going on, BJP gets benefit only by creating controversy and division. He also criticized the central government and said that the government wants to monitor even people’s mobile phones and termed it ‘North Korea Model’.
