How long will the 8th installment be?
For small and marginal farmers, the 8th installment under this scheme can be found after Holi. It is possible that the central government will start releasing the 8th installment from April. However, there is no strong information about this from the government. Some media reports are speculating this. Under this scheme, one installment between April-July, second installment between August and November and third installment of the year between December and March. So far, 9.45 crore farmers have received the benefits of this scheme for December-March 2020-21.
Which people will not get benefit
Let me tell you that if the owner of agricultural land is a government employee or has retired, he will also not get the benefit of this scheme. If the farm farmer does not have a farm in his name, then he will not get the benefit of this scheme. Even if the farm is named after his father or grandfather, he will not be eligible for this scheme.
