Vishwajeet tells Local 18 that Sevanti mainly comes in three varieties – Multi Flora, Medium Flora and Gajra variety. These three varieties can be easily planted in pots during the cold season and all three varieties give excellent growth in a short time and make the house colorful. The most suitable pot for Sewanti is considered to be 10 to 12 inches, so that the roots can spread easily and the plant grows rapidly.

Talking about nutrients, Vishwajeet says that mustard cake and DAP fertilizer is considered the best combination for Sevanti. He said that flowers start appearing within 20 to 25 days of planting, hence it is considered to be the fastest blooming flower of winter.
