Nishan Tiwari told Local 18 that there are many wonderful places to visit in and around Bilaspur. Kopra Reservoir, recently declared a Ramsar site, has become a special attraction for tourists, where a large number of exotic birds arrive. Apart from this, Khondhra Nature Camp is also a great place to visit on New Year. With camping here, nature can be enjoyed amidst waterfalls and greenery. He also mentioned the Jhumka Dam in Koriya district, which looks like earrings worn by women. There are boating, adventure activities and many play facilities for children, which give a special experience on New Year.

Kanan Pendari Ju first choice

Narayan Lunia said that every new year is an opportunity for him to spend time with his family. This time too he is preparing to hang out with his family. According to him, Kanan Pendari Zoo of Bilaspur is the best option for children and family, where a large number of wildlife can be seen. Apart from this, Khutaghat Dam, which is called Shimla of Chhattisgarh, Mainpat also attracts a lot of people on New Year. During cold days, places like mist, beautiful views, marshy point, upside-down water and fish point thrill the tourists. However, this time due to the demand of children, they have chosen Kanan Pendari Zoo only.

Best Option Khutaghat Dam
Usha Soni said that there are many places to visit in Chhattisgarh but for middle class families, Khutaghat Dam of Bilaspur is a great option for picnic and small party on New Year. On the way, after visiting Shaktipeeth Maa Mahamaya Temple located in Ratanpur, there is a plan to reach Khutaghat Dam with the family, where the New Year will be celebrated amidst nature at a picnic spot.
