The famous Kailashdham of Jalore is a major center of religious faith and natural beauty. In this Kailashdham built on Nakoda Road of Bishangarh, the 72 feet high huge Shiva statue attracts devotees from far away. This complex surrounded by greenery is buzzing with devotees and tourists coming from India and abroad on Sawan, Mahashivratri and weekends. In the cave below the Shiva statue, 12 Jyotirlingas are seen, which makes it more special. The pathways built between Nandi and the reservoir in the complex provide a sense of peace and tranquility to the devotees. The historical ship temple of Jalore holds a special identity due to its unique structure and religious importance. This temple is located in Mandwala village and is completely carved out of marble, which has been cut out of the mountain and made in the shape of a boat. Due to this special structure it is called “Ship Temple”. The temple was established in 1993 for Jainism and its foundation stone was laid on 9 May 1993. The Jahaz Temple attracts Jain devotees as well as tourists interested in history, architecture and sculpture. The serene atmosphere and natural surroundings make it an ideal picnic and tourist destination.
