The historical ship temple of Jalore holds a special identity due to its unique structure and religious importance. This temple is located in Mandwala village and is completely carved out of marble, which has been cut out of the mountain and made in the shape of a boat. Due to this special structure it is called “Ship Temple”. The temple was established in 1993 for Jainism and its foundation stone was laid on 9 May 1993. The Jahaz Temple attracts Jain devotees as well as tourists interested in history, architecture and sculpture.
