Earlier, post graduate studies were conducted on a total of 18 seats in SKMCH, but after getting 11 additional seats from the new session, now enrollment will be done on a total of 29 seats. Necessary administrative and educational preparations for nomination on all seats have been completed.
Muzaffarpur: The process of enrollment in Post Graduate (PG) courses has started from today (Thursday) at Sri Krishna Medical College & Hospital (SKMCH) in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The college administration has completed all preparations regarding enrollment. Principal cum Superintendent Dr. Abha Rani Sinha has constituted a nomination committee to conduct the nomination process smoothly. Dr. Anant Prasad, HOD of Biochemistry Department, has been given the responsibility as the chairman of the committee.

Necessary administrative and educational preparations for nomination on all seats have been completed, so that the candidates do not face any kind of problem.
According to Dr. Abha Rani Sinha, four new seats have been approved in the Department of Pediatrics. This will increase the number of specialist doctors in this department and patients will be able to get better medical facilities in future. The number of seats in the General Surgery Department has also been increased. Earlier there were two PG seats in this department, whereas now with the addition of three new seats, the total number of seats has increased to five.
The administration believes that the increase in PG seats will not only provide more opportunities for higher education to medical students, but will also improve the quality of treatment in the hospital. PG students play an active role in the treatment of patients during their training. This further strengthens the services of the hospital.
During the nomination process, all the candidates have been instructed to appear on the scheduled date, time and with the necessary documents. Guidelines related to enrollment have also been issued by the college administration. The Principal cum Superintendent expressed hope that the nomination process will be completed in a peaceful and transparent manner.
