Petrol in Delhi has increased by 39 paise to Rs 90.58 per liter. Whereas diesel has become Rs 80.97 after 37 paise per liter. This increase in the price of petrol diesel has occurred for the 12th consecutive day and for the 14th time this month. At this time, the prices of both fuels are running at all time high in almost every cities. Petrol has reached close to Rs 100 in most cities. If you talk about Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh, then XP Petrol is being sold at Rs 101.51.

The price of petrol in the country’s financial capital Mumbai has gone up to Rs 97 per liter. Petrol price in Mumbai has been increased to Rs 97 per liter and diesel to Rs 88.06 per liter. Petrol diesel prices are touching new record levels every day in other cities.

This means that if the price of crude oil is low in the global market, then petrol diesel will be cheaper in India. If the price of crude oil increases, then more will have to be spent for petrol diesel, but this does not happen every time. When the price of crude oil rises in the global market, its burden is put on the customers, but when the price of crude oil is low, the government imposes tax on the customers to increase its revenue.
